On Tuesday September 26, the Créadie - Pays de la Loire awards ceremony took place at the "C'est Bio L'Anjou" culinary center in Rochefort-sur-Loire. For the past 13 years, this entrepreneurial competition has honored local players whose projects would not have been possible without microcredit. It demonstrates by example that, even with small amounts of funding, their initiatives are capable of realizing major ambitions that have an impact on development, social cohesion and ecological preservation in their town or region.
Thanks to the sponsors, of which ARMOR GROUP has been a part for more than 10 years, four entrepreneurs were honoured in different categories. The "Vitality of territories" prize, supported by ARMOR GROUP, was awarded to Nicolas Gemmo by Willy Goulevant (Head Office HR / APS / Newstech), for his company Amont Groupe, a signalling business in the construction and transport sectors in Brain-sur-l'Authion.
It was with determination and a large dose of optimism that I decided to take my first steps in France in 2014. Living with my sister, I started working in temp agencies in Angers agencies in Angers before embarking on the adventure of setting up my own business with the BGE course a year later. I turned to Adie for the financing of my project and BGE for the support [...] I also asked the banks for help, but they refused to finance me. I was able to carry out my project thanks to Adie's financing.

In addition to the prize money paid to the winners, each year the competition enables local entrepreneurs to express themselves, showcase their experience and know-how, forge links with their peers and even forge new partnerships.
For Armor Group, this was the tenth time it had taken part in Créadie, with the declared aim of recognizing the commitment of people who have had the audacity to create their own micro-businesses, and who contribute to local dynamism, notably by creating jobs in their local area.
