ARMOR-IIMAK conquers the textile industry

March 2, 2023

As the world leader in Thermal Transfer printing, ARMOR-IIMAK continues to develop its offer and conquer new markets.

In 2023, ARMOR-IIMAK now offers a complete range of Thermal Transfer ribbons dedicated to printing on textile labels. With three types of black inked ribbons and no less than 15 textile label references, this range offers professionals in the sector a solution that meets their technical requirements.

"A specific market such as the textile industry requires us to provide particularly well-tailored solutions. The ink must not only offer impeccable print quality on the various woven materials on the market, but also be capable of withstanding the many domestic and industrial washing processes. With this new range, our objective is to become the market leader by proposing a complete offer that allows our customers to meet all the needs of garment and textile accessory manufacturers" explains Nicolas Seguin, EMEA Product Manager at ARMOR-IIMAK.

The textile ribbon offer follows the same logic as the classic ribbons: an entry-level product (Access), a mid-range product (Special) and a high-end product (Expert). Two new colors are also available (red and white), allowing to print on dark labels. Finally, in terms of textile labels, customers now have access to a total of 15 references in the three leading materials of the market, namely Nylon, Satin and Polyester.
