New cycle(s)
The last few weeks have not been the quietest. The reshuffling of the national and European political landscape follows major announcements for the reindustrialisation of France, with the unveiling of 55 new turnkey sites by 2030 and €15 billion of investment announced at the Choose France Summit for 56 projects that will create 10,000 jobs across the country.
Some phases are coming to an end, others are starting up. Let's hope that the new phase we're about to embark on will enable us to consolidate the positive. At ARMOR GROUP, new cycles are also appearing. For example, we have just concluded a 6-year term on the Board of Directors of the UN Global Compact - France Network, while confirming our ongoing commitment as a member for 16 years now.
At ARMOR BATTERY FILMS, a new page is being written, with the start-up of our brand new industrial site dedicated to coated current collectors for batteries, components that increase their lifespan by 20% and charge them twice as fast.
And as we say goodbye and wish all the best to the young students we have welcomed to our company for a few weeks or months, we are getting ready to welcome a brand new class of around a hundred work-study students and trainees at the start of the new academic year in September, ready to learn and get involved in our project for a living, open and plural industry that works towards a positive social, environmental and economic impact.
So begins a new cycle of life, in the hope and confidence that the best is yet to come.
Hubert de Boisredon, Chairman and CEO of ARMOR GROUP.
